SciFit`s Appetite Suppress features the combination of the "lipogenesis inhibitor" HCA with the amino acid Phenylalanine and the herb St. Johns Wort. Phenylalanine when taken prior to a meal may decrease the appetite by enhancing the release of CCK in the small intestine which sends a signal to the brain that enough food has been consumed. St. Johns Wort works as a MAO inhibitor which decreases the breakdown of Serotonin and Norepinephrin in the brain. This action may cause a pleasant and satiated feeling.
Directions: As a dietary supplement, take 3 capsules one hour before a meal with water or as directed by your physician. It is not recommended to exceed 9 capsules per day.
