nuun

nuun (pronounced 'noon') was originally the brainchild of a student and professor from the tuck school, dartmouth college’s business program. new england was great for fall cycling, but the two became frustrated in their search for an electrolyte hydration solution to use in remote places. they longed for a lightweight, easily-dissolvable product that was free of carbohydrates.

we take pride in going the extra mile here at nuun, and when it comes to going the distance when we're out and about, we don't go without nuun. what do we know about hydration? as a small start-up comprised of competitive cyclists, rock climbers and triathletes, we know plenty. you won't find a bunch of lab-coat-wearing scientists here at nuunville, and we're not a bunch of trendy design people swishing about reading vogue. we're working to make nuun better for us, and for you.

there's only so many rides you can take using powders or diluting the green stuff before you shout "enough!" we did. so if you have ideas or comments, we genuinely want to hear from you, especially if it's "well done team". as that's why we're into this.

nuun turns every water source into optimal hydration. Just drop one tab into your reusable bottle, and you get an electrolyte enhanced drink with light flavor and without the plastic bottle waste. nuun has been changing hydration for 4 years and started by taking everything good in a sports drink, but took out the sugar and left the extra bottles at home. with nuun, one little recyclable tube represents 12 LESS plastic bottles ever being made or used. twelve tabs in one tube makes 12 16oz. drinks without the sugary calories in most.
